Aravani Art project is a collective for people from the transgender community, queer community, children, cis women and occasionally cis men. Aravani Art Project aims to embrace the Transgender Community by creating conscious well being through art, awareness & social participation. Aravani Art Project advocates for reclaiming spaces in society, by creating large, wall mural projects to raise awareness and create a platform for the community. They are now finding more magical ways to engage the community to come out into public spaces and feel confident, safe and like they belong.
Eyedentity is a celebration of every individual and the idea of identity through a literal depiction of seeing the world, and ourselves as we go through it. The eyes play such a vital role in the way we see things. Each of us has a unique way of seeing first, that determines how we wish to exist in this life. But this isn’t about just existing, it’s about resisting, ruling and thriving. With the pandemic, we have been stuck in an endless loop; it has been a trying time for many. For some, the idea of self-acceptance has become stronger and more prominent. There was no choice but to be hopeful and optimistic through these dark times, and that’s what we wanted to represent in our colorful statement shoes.
